Among the range of tools available to finance audiovisual productions, tax deductions have become a key resource for both large-scale projects and short films. However, although investors and producers can benefit from these structures, the real risk lies almost entirely with the producer.
This talk opens a dialogue on how tax deductions work and examines the potential risks and implications these may entail with the Treasury if certain conditions are not met, as well as offering a practical view on how to plan and manage these fiscal incentives safely and securely.
